Sherry D. Davis BS'00

Sherry D. Davis

Sherry Davis, CPA is a finance director working in the Access Expansion group of Eli Lilly & Company in Indianapolis. She joined the company as a financial consultant with Lilly Research Laboratories (LRL) in 2006. After her role in LRL, Davis focused on Lilly's long-term financial strategies in Asia, Africa, Russia, and Latin America in Lilly's Emerging Markets Business Unit and eventually took a role in corporate audit services. She also took a short-term assignment in Johannesburg where she managed financial planning for Lilly's South Africa and Sub-Saharan affiliate. Prior to joining Lilly, Davis worked in assurance services with PricewaterhouseCoopers and in the accounting department of Ford Motor Company.

A native of Indianapolis, Davis earned degrees in accounting and finance from the IU Kelley School of Business in 2000, studying at Aalto University in Finland during her final semester. She serves on the Diversity Council and Leadership Cabinet of the Indiana CPA Society, the Kelley School of Business' Institute for International Business Advisory Board, and on Lilly's Howard University recruiting team.
