Robert C. Thilmont

Bob is currently the President of Mountain Global Inc. The company provides product support, new product introduction support, marketing and sales channel development support and strategic management support to small and midsize companies. Founded in 2003, Mountain Global has assisted dozens of businesses in developing and executing business growth strategies. Most of these businesses have been in the start-up or early growth stage of development.

Prior to founding Mountain Global, Bob had over 20 years of industrial experience in the Automotive, Off Highway Vehicle, Power Generation and Industrial Markets. This included launching new products and technology from both the technical and commercial disciplines. Some of Bob’s achievements included product support for the introduction of the Cummins B Series engine into the Agriculture and Off Highway market along with early product support for the Cummins Engine release into the Dodge Pickup Truck program.

Since 2009, Bob has been an adjunct Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University. Bob teaches an “Introduction to Product Development” class along with an Introduction to Mechanical Engineering class for Freshman Engineering students. Bob earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1975 and an MBA from the Kelley School in 1977.
