Anton V. Vincent Anton V. Vincent (MBA 93)

Vincent leads the Baking Products Division where he is responsible for the profitable growth of iconicbrand franchises including Betty Crocker dessert products, Bisquick and Gold Medal.

Vincent was named corporate officer in 2006 and division President in 2009. His career spans leadership roles on Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks, Total Cereal, Pop Secret Popcorn, Chex Mix, Gardettos, Yoplait Yogurt, Betty Crocker side dishes and new products. Upon Vincent’s return to General Mills he came into the Corporate Development group where he was a key member of the acquisition team during the 2001 $10 billion acquisition of The Pillsbury Company and subsequently led the $640mm divestiture of General Mills’ interest in Ice Cream Partners, USA (Haagen Dazs). Vincent is also a founding member of General Mills’ renowned Black Champions Network (BCN).

Vincent departed General Mills in 1998 to head a restaurant holding company he helped found and secure venture funding for. Vincent’s earlier leadership experiences include MCI Telecommunications consumer markets and Fidelity Investments mutual fund sales and distribution.

Outside of General Mills, Vincent dedicates much of his time to philanthropic and enterprise efforts. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board - Milestone Growth Fund, Board of Trustees - Breck School, Advisory Council - Indiana University Kelley School of Business, Center for Brand Leadership and was past chair, Twin Cities Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Breakfast; He is a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), and Sigma Pi Phi Omicron Boule. Anton has received much recognition most notably 2006 Diversity MBA Magazine "Top 50 Under 50," 2008 Minneapolis Business Journal Minority Corporate Executive of the Year, 2009 General Mills Champions Award in 2009, 2011 Black Enterprise Top 100 in Marketing & Advertising and the 2011 Omega Psi Fraternity Inc, Centennial Award For Business Leadership.
