Summer 2009
- From Caterpillar to Butterfly

- Kelley MBA Yields Capital Return

- “I am now in a management position at a top 10 bank. That is something that would not have been possible without the knowledge that I learned from Kelley,” say Jelani Ellington, a Kelley Direct alumnus and Capital One manager.
- Competition is Part of the Fun

- “I like that sales allows you to create a relationship with your customer and really get to know your product,” says Alexa Likens, who completed a summer internship with 3M. She also likes the inherent competition and adds, “In sales, if you believe in your product and work hard, the sales will follow.”
- Field of Dreams

- "My Kelley Business Law education has provided me with a broad foundation of legal knowledge and skills to apply to any industry, sports included," says Labor Relations Intern, Scott Freedman. He chose business to follow his passion and works with Major League Baseball in New York City.
- Making a Global Impact at GE

- Now a Financial Analyst with GE, Nikki Rogers pursued her Kelley MBA to reach a more strategic level in HR. ”Often human resources does not have a seat at the table, but at GE, it does. There are also locations all over the world, so I knew it would be an opportunity with global impact.” says Rogers.
- Working the Kelley Network

- This double alumnus is still working the Kelley network and reaping the benefits. “Kelley's program was well-rounded and gave me the opportunity to meet many great people, build a strong network of classmates and recruiters, and have fun while doing it,” says Efthimiou, a consultant with Accenture.
