International Students

The diverse student community at Kelley welcomes you.

Pursuing a business degree in the United States can be both an exciting and challenging endeavor.

At Indiana University and the Kelley School of Business, you’ll find a diverse community ready to support you and help make the transition easier. Our domestic students come from nearly every state in the nation, and our international students come from nearly 50 different countries.

Once you’ve decided Kelley is the place for you, you will need to apply to Indiana University. Make sure that you mark “business” as your intended major on the application.

If you are transferring from a university outside the U.S., you will follow the application procedures for transfer students.

Note: All business courses taken outside the U.S. will be accepted for undistributed credit hours only.

This means they will count as business elective hours, but they will not satisfy our business course requirements.

We do, however, offer competency exams for any student who has taken a business computer skills class and would like to sit for a competency exam. If you are successful on the competency exam you will receive a course waiver, but no course credit. Because of this policy, it may take you a longer amount of time to complete your business degree at Kelley.

For more information refer to the Kelley Undergraduate Academic Bulletin that’s relevant to the year you matriculated to IU for more information.
