Public Policy Analysis Curriculum

What is public policy analysis?

As business becomes increasingly influenced by governmental rules, regulations, and policies, business economics and public policy analysis are playing a bigger role in managerial decision making in the United States and abroad. The public policy track focuses on training students in forecasting techniques as well as the application of micro- and macroeconomics when analyzing the effect of governmental policies on the business environment.

What are your career possibilities?

Public policy analysis majors often find work as analysts in regulated industries, such as public utilities, performing a wide variety of tasks as opposed to highly specialized work.
