Economic Consulting Curriculum

What is economic consulting?

As business becomes increasingly influenced by governmental rules, regulations, and policies, business economics and public policy analysis are playing a bigger role in managerial decision making in the United States and abroad. The economic consulting track trains students in forecasting techniques and in the application of micro- and macroeconomics to the problems of business.

What are your career possibilities?

Business economics majors may become economists in the fields of banking, manufacturing, transportation, utilities, insurance, real estate, finance, mining, and retailing. They may also become economic consultants.
