Kelley Institute For Social Impact Summer International Internships
Summer 2013: Nine weeks
Are you interested in social entrepreneurship and economic development? Do you want to engage in global community building? Are you a hard worker with a desire to use your business skills and talents internationally? If so, you should apply for a summer international internship opportunity with the Kelley Institute for Social Impact.
The internship
The nine-week internship program takes place summer 2013. If accepted, you will be financially responsible for your two-way plane ticket, your passport, and any visa fees if you work in a country with visa requirements. Each intern will be individually placed with a host family and organization. The Kelley Institute for Social Impact will pay all program fees to the Foundation for Sustainable Development.
The application
The Kelley Institute for Social Impact internships are open to admitted Kelley students only. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have at least sophomore standing, with one full year already completed at IU prior to applying. Space is limited to six interns. If chosen for round two of the application process, you will be required to have an interview with our selections committee. We require all participants to be flexible regarding the topic and location for their internship.
Accepted interns are required to participate in a training session focused on international development and site specific content on campus in early May.
