How do I choose a career?
First, understand yourself.
Know yourself, who you are, and where you want to go—you’ll find you have the answers. During your first semesters at Kelley, our Compass curriculum along with our staff of career coaches, will help you with your self-discovery process.
What are my options? What can I do with my major? How do I know if I am on track?
We’ll help you answer these questions and more. A career coach can help you explore a variety of career paths in any given major. Watch for Undergraduate Career Services workshops to help with this, too. And, review the four-year action plan (Adobe Flash Player required) to see what is expected of you each year to make sure you stay on track.
What do you like to do? What are your favorite classes? What are your strengths?
The answer might not come overnight—and that’s okay! Once you realize what you want to do through our process, you will become passionate about your future and you can work to further support your goals through the activities you choose.
Try on a career before you decide through:
