Doctoral Courses

  1. K601
    Optimization Methods
    • 15-weeks
    • 3 credits
    • Prerequisite: None

This course covers optimization methods.  In particular, we will focus on solution methods for the following classes of optimization problems.

    1. Linear problems (simplex and interior point methods)
    2. Network problems
    3. Integer problems
    4. Nonlinear problems

The goals are to give you the ability to read and understand research articles that use optimization techniques, and the ability to formulate models and develop solution methods for your own research.
