The Haring Symposium

The Albert Haring Symposium provides doctoral students from the Kelley School and other leading universities with a forum to present and discuss their research in a professional meeting environment.

Qualifying Exam

The qualifying exam is designed to assess a student's ability to think conceptually, creatively, and critically.  A student's task is to submit original research that may be publishable in a major marketing journal.

The qualifying exam should be completed by students at the end of their first academic year.  The exam involves both a written and oral component.

Students with unsatisfactory performance will fail this exam.
