On behalf of the Kelley Association of Women MBAs, also known as Kelley Women, we want to welcome you to our organization! Kelley Women is one of the largest and most respected organizations at the Kelley School of Business. We look to build upon your network of both current students and Kelley alumni while providing additional professional and personal development skills. The leadership team is committed to continuing the tradition of Kelley Women’s success during the 2014 – 2015 school year.   • Description of your position:As President, I work with the Vice Presidents to ensure Kelley Women’s goals and vision are carried out during the school year. This is accomplished through various personal and professional development events, as well as social events.
  • Professional Experience:Prior to coming to Kelley, I was an Associate at DB Private Equity, Deutsche Bank’s $10bn Fund-of-Funds platform, where I focused on investor relations and sales. Prior to joining DB Private Equity, I was an Analyst in Deutsche Bank’s Group audit function, where I worked with the Asset Management and Private Client Groups.

VP, Internal Relations: Kristina Heath

  • Your Academy and Major:  Strategic Finance Academy, Finance
  • Hometown: Louisville, Kentucky
  • Most Recent Residence: Louisville, Kentucky
  • Description of your position:As VP of Internal Relations, I collaborate with other clubs to organize events that embrace the diversity that Kelley has to offer. I also lead the execution of various other social events that promote networking within Kelley and help cultivate and strengthen the sense of a Kelley community.
  • Professional Experience:Prior to coming to Kelley, I worked at Republic Bank, a regional bank headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky. Most recently, I worked in lending compliance. Previous to that, I worked with the Bank Secrecy Act investigating possible instances of suspicious activity.

VP, External Relations: Barbara Linn

  • Your Academy and Major: Consumer Marketing Academy, Marketing & Business Analytics

  • Description of your position: As VP of External Relations, I oversee the Prospective Relations, Alumni Relations, and Community Service Initiatives for Kelley Women. The main activities include the Kelley Women Cocktail Reception during Experience Weekend and mentoring partnerships throughout the year.
  • Professional Experience:Prior to coming to Kelley, I worked as a restaurant manager and Sommelier for Walt Disney World Resort. My experience focused on general management as well as new product concept and development.

VP, Professional Development: Flor Frey

  • Your Academy and Major:  Consumer Marketing Academy, Marketing, Management
  • Hometown: Katy, Texas
  • Most Recent Residence: Minneapolis, MN
  • Description of your position: As the VP of Professional Development, I seek to help the women of Kelley become the business leaders of tomorrow. Through events such as Women in Business Night, the Balance Series, and speeches by industry and thought leaders, Kelley Women have numerous opportunities to develop holistically and gain the tools necessary to tackle any professional challenge.
  • Professional Experience:After completing my undergraduate degree in mass communications, I pursued a career in nonprofit management with the American Cancer Society. I developed my professional skills during my time at the ACS through various roles, ultimately becoming the youngest Regional Director of Communications for the Central Texas region. Following my entrepreneurial bug, I changed career paths and began working for PEI Management, a tech startup, serving middle market clients. With startup experience under my belt and the do-gooder flair, I blended my previous careers with a personal passion and founded Yoga Sol, Minneapolis’ only donation-based yoga studio. I have a passion for making an impact, and upon completing my MBA I intend to pursue a career in marketing.
