Nathan Rawlins, CFA
Prior to starting at Kelley, I spent the first six years of my career working in the investment management industry for an institutional asset manager. Thus far in my career, I have held roles in: research, risk management, trading, and portfolio analysis. I am a CFA charterholder and have a Finance degree from the University of Kansas. During my time at Kelley, I am focusing on equity research and plan to continue my career in investment management as a research analyst after graduation. As President of the Investment Club, it is my goal to make investment knowledge more accessible to the greater student body, as well as raising the bar for the Kelley investment community.
I grew up in Southeast Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Finance. After graduation, I moved to Chicago to begin working in a rotational assignment at Bank of America. While at the Bank, I worked within commercial real estate, trading support, and Treasury. While at Kelley, I am focused on real estate and corporate treasury and will be working in a Corporate Treasury internship this summer. As a Vice President of the Investment club, I aim to assist members in their career search and engage alumni for guidance and to strengthen the club’s network.
I was raised in Traverse City, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Political Science. Prior to business school, I sold medical equipment. While at Kelley, I am focused on investment management and equity research. As Vice President of the Investment club, my goal is to connect students with applicable and straightforward investment information.
