Hoosier Social Impact Fund

The Hoosier Social Impact Fund (HSIF) is a student led initiative with a financial and educational focus. HSIF addresses the gap that exists between small business owners seeking capital to boost their business and formal banks that provide loans. It also connects these business owners looking for consulting advice with business students capable of addressing business challenges.

In providing low-interest access to capital coupled with financial literacy education, the Hoosier Social Impact Fund seeks to empower those who are under served financially to make them successful business owners,  “bank ready,” and vital contributors to the economic development of their communities.

Simultaneously, business students are applying the skills they are learning in the classroom to real world challenges and making a concrete impact on communities locally and on a global level.
