Indiana University invited to lead discussions at the iTSMF USA Ohio Valley LIG Event

Students from Indiana University‘s iTSMF USA Ohio Valley‘s local interest group were recently invited to lead the discussion at the organizations meeting on April 22, 2011 in Cincinnati, OH. The meeting was held at Microsoft‘s Cincinnati office and was also attended by Ser-vice Management professionals from leading companies like Microsoft, HP and Accenture.

The iTSMF chapter at the Kelley School of Business is the only student chapter under iTSMF USA. It was a great honor to be invited to conduct the entire meeting and present to service management professionals from the industry. Joe Castor and Priyanka Chandrasekaran led a workshop on Visualizing Ideas and demonstrated new and exciting ways of thinking visually and enhancing discussions during team meetings and presentations. This workshop was extremely interactive and involved all those in attendance.

Dushyant Mitra and Vartika Rawat presented on ?The Social Media Buzz? and spoke about the future trends in social media and how they relate to the corporate world and also service management in particular. A couple of MSIS cap-stone projects were also highlighted during the meeting. Sairaman Saiganesh and Alex Fulton presented their experiences with the capstone project aligned with service management. All presentations encouraged discussions about the impact of IT service management.
