Information Management Affiliates is an industry/university cooperative that generates, synthesizes, and disseminates knowledge about the use and management of information and information technologies, most notably through:
- Programs on hot-button IS/IT topics chosen by IMA members
- Research projects, including partnerships between IMA members and Kelley School of Business faculty
- Student development
- Continuing education for IT professionals (in development)
A membership-based organization, IMA is led by Tony Gerth, our executive director.
A Forum for Ideas
A program within the Department of Operations and Decision Technologies at the Kelley School of Business, IMA enables IT decision makers to exchange best-practice knowledge and new ideas about their rapidly changing field, as well as to collaborate with Kelley faculty and students on research and educational opportunities.
Driving Economic Development
Founded in 1979, IMA is the only organization of its kind in Indiana and one of few such organizations in the Midwest. IMA contributes to Indiana’s economic development by helping local organizations learn from one another, avoid mistakes, and duplicate successes.
