Sofia Nunez is an MBA candidate at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. She is pursuing a major in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation as well as a certificate in Social Entrepreneurship. Sofia is interested in continuing her professional career in the consulting industry working in social impact projects.
Before coming to Kelley, Sofia worked in market research for nearly five years. Most recently, she was a project manager in the food and beverage division of GfK Mexico, the fourth largest market research group in the world. During this time, she sold and led the operation of projects worth over 1 million dollars for different global companies. The sales that she made in 2011 contributed to achieving the division’s annual sales goal. Sofia also has experience managing projects related to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and fast moving consumer goods industries.
Sofia completed her bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico City Campus, and graduated in the top 5% of her class. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and French. She enjoys traveling, discovering restaurants, and exercising.
