Larry K. Sanchez is currently an MBA candidate at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He is pursuing a major in Finance. He is seeking to enter into investment management and work in the venture capital industry where he can leverage his technology and finance experience.
He is an IT professional who demonstrates a strong commitment to society. Before coming to Kelley, he created Amasuwa, a free on-line service to report burglary, making use of maps and social networks. This is the first initiative of its kind in Peru. Before creating Amasuwa, Larry worked for almost a year as a Software Analyst and Developer for Xcode AS (now Sysco AS), a Norwegian software company with offices in Oslo and Lima. During this experience, he developed and implemented solutions such as content management systems, business analysis models, and e-commerce software for Norwegian companies within the education, leisure, retail, and real-estate industries.
Prior to this experience, Larry worked independently as a Software Developer for almost 3 years while finishing his college studies as the top student of his class. During this experience, he developed Supply and Sales software systems for local businesses as well as content management systems and web applications for clients in Peru and the US.
Larry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Privada del Norte (UPN). He is an amateur piano and guitar player, and through his YouTube channel, he shares his talent and passion for music with the world. Larry also enjoys playing basketball and hiking. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
