Avril Fuentes is an MBA candidate at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. She is currently pursuing an education and a career in Consumer Insights.
Avril holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM). Most recently, Avril obtained a Project Administration Diploma from the same institution. Prior to coming to Kelley, she worked for three years as a Key Account Manager responsible for the development of several major retailers in Mexico City. During this period of time she negotiated with demanding clients, including Walmart, and managed to succeed in challenging situations. Before that time, Avril gained experience in three different categories (beverages, baby food, and beauty-heath care) of consumer goods companies. Her functions entailed category management, strategic planning, pricing, project management, and collaborative forecasting and replenishment.
Avril is an avid improvement believer, and she enjoys photography, skating, and massive music concerts.
