After college, she worked for Becton Dickinson, where she developed a delivery system for this leading health care company. Then, she worked at Hasbro Mexico for seven years in various Trade Marketing and Sales positions.

During this time she negotiated and implemented marketing and sales strategies for Comercial Mexicana, Blockbuster, and Costco. While at Kelley, she was the Vice President of the Latin MBA Association and a member of the Kelley GLOBASE Peru Leadership Team, a social enterprise project.  She also participated on a Kelley project in Fiji where she met with over a hundred women entrepreneurs to identify micro-financing opportunities and needs. Rocio worked at RJ Reynolds, in Winston-Salem, NC, as a Marketing intern.

She developed communication strategies and programming ideas to build self-identification and awareness for the Camel Brand. She also conducted a benchmarking analysis to increase Camel website traffic by providing meaningful content that expanded the relationship between the brand and consumers.

Her experience in sales and marketing has helped her develop a creative approach to problem solving, sound analytical and leadership skills and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Her participation in GLOBASE and Kelley Fiji demonstrates her commitment to society and her passion for making an impact in people’s lives.
