Graduate Accounting Programs

Great Students, Great Futures

Accounting is a great place to start your career. Our nearly 100 percent employment rate virtually guarantees you a job. Many of our graduates go on to lucrative jobs in public accounting, and people with accounting skills are in demand at financial firms and investment banks.

Admission

Admission Requirements

The 3/2 MBA and the MSA program are both geared toward current Kelley undergraduate students. However, we are happy to consider well-qualified, non-Kelley applicants with a business degree or equivalent to the MSA program.

We will be looking at the following:

GPA
Applicants are required to submit official transcript(s) showing all undergraduate and graduate course work. A GPA of 3.2 or above is expected. If you have taken courses at Indiana University, we can usually access your transcripts.

Undergraduate Degree
Current Kelley undergraduates in accounting are eligible to apply to the 3/2 MBA program in their junior year. Students who have completed a U.S. bachelor’s degree in business (or the equivalent; i.e., four years of university education) are eligible for the MSA degree program.

Standardized Tests
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) Score—Applicants are expected to have an outstanding GMAT score (620 or above) as evidenced by official GMAT results no older than five years old. The GMAT is waived for Kelley students on the IU Bloomington campus. The official GMAT code for our program is 8ZG-41-04.

Test of  English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Score—International students must also submit a recent TOEFL score (620 or above; 260 or better on machine-scored test; 105 on new iBT). Graduation from a U.S. academic institution does not exempt you from this requirement.
