Private Wealth Management

The course explores the challenges and analytics that are common to the practice of private wealth management. We will examine portfolio management and asset allocation from the view of an individual investor who intends to use –but not provide – the services. We will use the analytic tools available to wealth managers and examine market practices that help wealth managers build client relationships. We will also examine the problem of fraud and conflicts of interest. On completing this course a student should have a good appreciation for how wealth managers build and manage a business.
