Financial Assistance

The Kelley School offers several forms of financial assistance to help you pursue your PhD, including fee remissions, research and teaching appointments, fellowships, and grants. Last year our standard offer included a $22,000 stipend / year + tuition remission + health insurance, all of which was guaranteed for four years. In exchange for this support we ask that the student serve for two years as a research assistant and teach 12.0 credit hours (four semester classes) spread out over a four-year period. You can learn more about financial aid at IU from the IU Bloomington Office of Student Financial Assistance.
