Business Management Certificate Program


The Business Management Certificate Program provides a framework for students to pursue an Executive MBA. This program is designed to equip students with practical knowledge in business intelligence, IT leadership, and business research. This certificate, also, offers an understanding on how to innovatively improve business operations.

Who should apply?

This certificate is geared towards entry to middle level management and technology professionals.

Program Delivery

The program will be delivered in a blended format with face-to-face instruction, video conferencing, and web-based learning.
  • Typical program duration is 12 months
  • The program consists of four courses
  • Duration of each course is 12 weeks
  • No in-residence required

Program Structure

Certificate Credits - 12 Credit Hours

Students will begin the program by enrolling in our Business Management Certificate (BMC) and complete 12 credits (four courses) which can be transferred to the EMBA track. Students can select any of these four courses to complete the BMC:

      C520: Quantitative Analysis (3.0 cr)
      C521: Managing Accounting Information for Decision Making (3.0 cr)
      C580: Operations Management (3.0 cr)
      C530: Economics for Managers (3.0 cr)
      C570: Strategic Marketing Management (3.0 cr)
      C540: Financial Management (3.0 cr)*

*C521 must be taken before you can take C540

If a student receives a 2.75 GPA or greater they will be eligible to apply to the EMBA portion of the program.
