Kelley Doctoral Programs has a long tradition of educating international students. About one-third of our PhD candidates hail from outside the United States, and we believe this diversity enriches the educational environment for both students and faculty members.
Indiana University and the local Bloomington community are particularly welcoming to international students—and the word is getting out. In fact, in spring 2008, 9.8 percent of all Indiana University Bloomington students were classified as international. In addition, IU Bloomington ranks in the top 20 universities nationally both for numbers of international students studying in Bloomington and for IU students studying abroad, according to the 2007 Open Doors report released by the Institute of International Education.
There are many campus resources available to international students, including:
- International Student Groups
- Office of Admissions for International Students
