Kelley is a hotspot for retail recruiting. Kohl's and Target lead the way in employing Kelley students in internships and post graduation retail careers. Other great retailers like Dick's Sporting Goods, Macy's, Toy's R Us, and Abrecrombie & Fitch also seek retail Talent at the Kelley School.

Scholarships

YMA Fashion Scholarship

Each fall the Center for Retailing and IU’s Department of Apparel Merchandising and Interior Design nominate a handful of IU undergraduate students for the prestigious YMA Fashion Scholarship. Indiana University is one of 28 schools nationwide whose students can apply for these $5,000 merit-based awards.

Each scholarship recipient is paired with a mentor in the fashion industry and is invited to participate in the exclusive YMA Summer Internship Program with employers throughout the country.

To apply for the scholarship, students must meet the application criteria, complete an application, and submit an essay based on a case study. A committee of IU faculty then reviews the application materials and submits the materials from the most qualified students to the national scholarship committee.
