2012 Retailer of the Year

Each year, the Center for Education and Research in Retailing honors one of its corporate partners as Retailer of the Year. Retailers are chosen for this award based on the depth of their commitment to the Kelley School—as academic partners as well as recruiters and sponsors—and for their roles as leaders and/or innovators in the retail industry.

We are proud to announce Kohl’s Corporation, the department store chain, as the 2012 Retailer of the Year. This recognition is based on the company's outstanding support and service to the Center for Education and Research in Retailing, the Kelley Retail Association, and the Kelley School of Business.

Beyond supporting the Center, Kohl’s is a primary sponsor for the Kelley Retail Association and the National Retail Marketing Case Competition held at the Kelley School each spring. In addition, Kohl’s corporate consistently hires more Kelley students than most companies across industries recruiting at the school, placing them in the top 10 recruiting companies at Kelley.

From all of us at Kelley that benefit from your gold standard partnership—congratulations!
