On the CMA

I needed a school with a top marketing program, a strong alumni network, and an environment that felt like family. Those three things made Kelley and the CMA stand out to me. I couldn’t ask for a better experience: In my first year, I’ve landed the internship I wanted for a global company.

My Bio

Undergraduate: Emory University, Marketing and Management

Hometown: Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Internship: Colgate-Palmolive, New York City, New York

I was a product manager for a small company in Atlanta when I realized I was ready to take the next step in my career. I wanted to work for a larger global company, and I knew an MBA was necessary.

As I started to look around, I realized the Consumer Marketing Academy was exactly what I was looking for. I even chose Kelley over my alma mater. My internship this summer proves the value of Kelley’s education. The CMA knows how to groom students to become true brand managers.

At Colgate-Palmolive, I’ll be in a big city working for a global company. I’m excited to experience the energy of New York City, especially because Kelley feels like such a family environment. It’s home here, but I know I can thrive outside of the school as well. I always knew I’d come back to school for my MBA and Kelley has been the place for me because I’ve been able to develop my core skills and gain real-life experience that is preparing me for the challenges of the future.
