On the CMA

Whether it is faculty, peers, or alumni at Fortune 500 companies, people are always willing to go out of their way to make sure that I'm successful in school, my internship and ultimately my career. The culture of collaboration at Kelley is really something special.

My Bio

Undergraduate: Indiana University, Marketing/Spanish

Hometown: Columbus, Ind.

Internship: Eli Lilly, Indianapolis

I have always had an interest in how and why consumers make decisions, and how to influence those decisions. Having a marketing and advertising background, the CMA sounded like a perfect fit for me. I came back to school to get into a larger consumer products company and the CMA was a huge draw for me coming back to IU.

The training and personal attention we receive here at Kelley is nothing short of amazing. For me, the best opportunity I've had through the CMA is the chance to work on the Osmocote brand for Bloomington Brands. It has allowed me to leverage what I've learned in the classroom on a real-life brand for the Scotts Miracle-Gro company during my MBA schooling. This unique partnership between the Kelley School of Business and Scotts has prepared me to flourish at my Eli Lilly internship this summer.
