About Us

Brand names are among a firm's most valuable assets. To ensure their ongoing success, brands need versatile leaders at the helm.

At the Center for Brand Leadership, we train top MBA students to be the next generation of strong brand managers.

Our History: A Top-Rated Program

The Kelley School has a long history of developing successful marketing professionals. More than 40 percent of Kelley MBA students major in marketing, a percentage that is twice as high as most top schools. The MBA Marketing Program at the Kelley School always receives high marks from Businessweek, and our Consumer Marketing Program was named among the top two in the nation in a Wall Street Journal poll. For many years, our graduates have made their careers with leading consumer goods companies.

Our Graduates: Complete Brand Managers

The Center for Brand Leadership develops the "whole" consumer marketing manager. Our MBAs enter the field with an interdisciplinary, leadership-focused advantage. The Center's significant experiential component includes soft-skills development through the Consumer Marketing Academy and unique hands-on experiences like Bloomington Brands.

Our Network: Active and Influential

The Center fosters fruitful collaboration among faculty, corporate partners, alumni, and current students. We support research on significant problems and questions faced by consumer products companies and provide a forum that gives our corporate sponsors high visibility with our students, and vice versa.
