    Managing Legal Risk

    Examines broad range of legal concepts and principles associated with well-reasoned business decision-making regarding matters of potential risk and reward.  In effort to enhance students' abilities to develop sound strategies in the current legal and regulatory environment, course explores managerial issues associated with these topics: civil litigation and other forms of dispute resolution; criminal law and business; business and the Constitution; the common law; intellectual property protection; and major areas of statutory and administrative law (such as employment discrimination, environmental regulation, and selected aspects of securities law and antitrust law).
