As president of the Black MBA Association, my responsibilities include initiating, planning, and executing activities that promote diversity and inclusion among our members, as well as the entire Kelley MBA student body. I spend time meeting with my executive board to brainstorm creative ways to foster participation and collaboration at Kelley and thinking of ways that the club can act as a resource for diversity related issues.
One of the reasons I chose the KSOB is because of the numerous leadership opportunities available to students. As the VP of Finance I manage the logistics of the finances of the club, support the planning and implementation of club activities.
VP Internal Relations
As the VP of Internal Relations, I hope to raise the profile of the Black MBA Association among the Kelley MBA student body through various events and workshops. Prior to Kelley, I spent the majority of my career working in the advertising industry, specializing in digital marketing as an interactive developer. I have produced work for BBDO, TBWA\Chiat\Day, and most recently Deutsch NY. Currently I am a second year MBA majoring in marketing and I plan to transition into a brand management role upon graduation. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I received a BS in Information Management and Technology from Syracuse University. My hobbies include photography, playing various sports (pretty much anything), and traveling.
VP External Relations
Prior to Kelley, I spent six years working in the international higher education industry. At Kelley, I am studying marketing and management with the hope to move into a global business marketing strategy role. As vice-president of external relations, I hope to plan many successful events that bring together other MBAA Associations and Clubs, Indiana University wide groups, and other MBA Programs for mutual fellowship. Personally, I enjoy travel, music, and photography. I look forward to getting to know you.
