Welcome from the Dean

This is an exciting time to be at the Kelley School of Business. I am extremely proud of the education we deliver, not only in Bloomington, Indianapolis, and online, but through our numerous corporate and global partnerships. We are building the future of business on a firm foundation of tradition and excellence. And more than ever, we are making positive change possible—in the world of business education, in the world of business, and in the world at large.

At Kelley, we teach an innovative curriculum built on personal development, teamwork, and experiential learning with an emphasis on global and social responsibility. Our method produces leaders that others want to follow. But it's not for everyone. We demand the best of our students, just as we do of our faculty and staff. When you come to Kelley, you are expected to work hard, focusing attention on areas for improvement. You will get honest feedback and "straight talk." Kelleys have the integrity, commitment, and authenticity needed to persevere. They see risk as a challenge, not a barrier, and they know what it takes to make tough decisions for the right reasons.

Our curriculum also incorporates international experiences. Business truly is global, and we continue to build upon our extensive existing collaborations with international partner schools and global businesses throughout Asia, Africa, and Latin America, in countries including Korea, India, Mongolia, Thailand, Brazil, South Africa, and more—providing our students, from the undergraduate to the executive level, opportunities not just for a cultural exchange, but real leadership experience dealing with critical business issues on a worldwide scale.

Our success is reflected in our rankings and our reputation, which continue to climb. All of our major programs are ranked in the top 15. The story behind the numbers is even more impressive.
